Arrowhead Cabin

Great hosts, charming historic cabin. Look forward to our next visit!!

Jan and Nick were awesome hosts. They made us feel so welcome. Very idyllic cabin. The property was beautiful! We loved staying here with another couple. It was perfect. We will be back!

My husband and I visited to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. In normal, non-Covid times we would have planned something more exotic than a local-ish road trip, but honestly, it was better than we could have ever expected! Only miles away from the city but feels like you have been transported to the English countryside (and my husband is English, so that meant something to him!). The owners who live on the property are gracious and welcoming without being intrusive. They even left us a bottle of champagne! Character and atmosphere abound. And of course we couldn't leave without a swim in the unique (heated) lap pool! We're looking forward to going back and taking our daughter next time.

very convenient location... the owners are very friendly. The cabin is super cute, with enough space for 4 people to stay comfortably. The pool is really nice, with plenty of seating options. The animals on the location are also very friendly and always there to say hello to. Would definitely recommend.

This was our second visit to Arrowhead Cabin. We chose to spend our last summer weekend at Arrowhead Cabin. It was exactly what we needed for before school started! We didn't need to travel anywhere else once we arrived at Arrowhead Cabin. Our daughter was happy swimming and spending time with the paw patrol! We thank our hosts for sharing their beautiful gardens and guesthouse with us!

Arrowhead Cabin is a beautiful serene property with a lovely pool surrounded by flower gardens. The cabin is well-appointed and super clean. The owner is delightful and gave us wonderful recommendations for hiking with a pre-teen and a teenager, and restaurant recommendations. Everyone took Covid-19 precautions very seriously and that provided a sense of comfort for me and my family. There are two delightful dogs on the property and my children loved visiting with them outside. We definitely plan to return to Arrowhead. It's a world away but only 10 minutes from downtown Charlottesville.
