Wonderful getaway, breathtaking views, loved the pool and Gabriel was a great host! Would definitely come back!

Our stay was fabulous! Our intention was to enjoy the pool, but mainly do the Charlottesville beer scene. After 2 hours away from the house, we decided to just head back and hang at the pool. Our beer weekend became a pool weekend, and no one was mad about it! Will definitely stay here again. :-)

Great place to get away to relax and recoup. Clean and comfy. Quaint and picturesque. The cottage is lovely, with a beautiful view. The pool Is rejuvenating. Host is delightful. She is available but respects your privacy. Highly recommend.

This place is everything it says it is: roomy with great air conditioning, on gorgeous grounds, with a fabulous pool - all to yourself! Gabriel, the owner and host, lives on the property but is totally unobtrusive and there only if you need something. There are chickens and fresh eggs, gorgeous gardens and all-in-all it is a wonderful retreat. Highly recommend.

This lovely VRBO is conveniently located about 1/2 mile off I-29 (about 10 minutes from Charlottesville Airport, 20 minutes from Monticello and 30 min from our wedding destination - the location was a big reason why we rented it. However, the house itself is absolutely lovely. It is an older home and reflects the personality of our delightful hostess, Gabriel. It is all on one story (but, with single steps into some rooms). There are 4 very comfortable bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The kitchen and dining room were perfect and we felt very comfortable cooking. There is a built in outdoor pool. It is a working farm which is worked primarily by our hostess. We would definitely rent this VRBO again.

Kismet Cottage was a magical place for our elopement. The house is inviting and homey, the property is beautiful, and the views are fabulous. We had 6 total people and the house was just the right size for the group.
