We love this property! Can't beat the beautiful surroundings and the comfortable interior.

The house is beautiful with a great history. We enjoyed a walk around to see the animals and the property. Would definitely recommend!

Our Family gathered here from St. Louis and DC to watch field hockey in Lynchburg and Charlottesville. We loved our time together back at this retreat. The screened porch was a favorite spot for naps and nature watching. Every kitchen and toiletry item we could imagine was provided. Thank you for preserving and presenting this place so graciously…for us human guests and our four legged friends too!

Quarry House is about the best outfitted Airbnb we've experienced anywhere in the world. We had a lovely holiday weekend with our kids and their significant others - our son lives nearby so we hope to stay again. The fenced yard was perfect for our pup and the screened porch was perfect for us. The kitchen was wonderful and made it easy to cook a full breakfast that we savored on the porch. We enjoyed stargazing from the yard, visiting with the animals, and being far out in the country (no cell service, but great Wi-Fi). Quarry House is easy to get to, but you can't rely on your GPS due to lack of cell service. Be sure to get explicit turn-by-turn directions before you set out.

Quarry House is a really lovely house on a lovely farm. We enjoyed the comfortable beds, towels, steam shower, screened in porch, beautiful garden, picturesque pond, and chef's kitchen. The AC worked well, as did the WiFi. Our daughter loved seeing the "horsies" up the road. Our dog loved running around the fenced-in yard, and the lack of neighbors to complain about his barking. I loved that the kitchen actually had spices in the cabinets! One note: the listing does not say there is a grill. There is a grill outside, although I don't know if it's usable or not (we didn't try it).

Quarry House was the prefect place for our UVa graduation and family weekend. It was very comfortable and well provisioned and in a gorgeous setting.

From check in to check out, everything about our stay at the Quarry house was lovely. The home was quiet, clean, and well stocked with everything we needed. We especially loved gathering on the screen porch in the mornings and by the fire pit at night. Would definitely recommend your charming home!

My husband and I couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at Quarry House. We have rented many properties prior and this was by far one of the loveliest homes to stay in. The level of detail and quality of amenities was top-notch! We, along with our golden retriever, enjoyed the peaceful surroundings of the sprawling grounds, even getting to say hi to the property animals was a treat. Will definitely look to rent this fabulous retreat when in Charlottesville again.

We love coming back to the Quarry House. It’s incredibly comfortable for family and friends and we love sitting by the fire reading, playing cards, and just hanging out. Can’t wait to come back soon!

Our family enjoyed a too short stay at this beautifully appointed and cozy home. We could not have asked for a better place for our family to enjoy some quality time together as we visited our son on parents weekend. The details in the home from the milled wood cabinets and floors from trees on the farm to locally milled soapstone counter tops to incredibly comfortable beds with crisp linens and warm comforters. This historic home had everything we needed in the kitchen - delicious Nespresso maker - from cooking breakfast to even baking cookies! We hope to return for a longer stay because a weekend was certainly not enough. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Our stay at Quiet Entry Farm-Quarry House was most delightful and wonderful. The host (owners) had thought of every possible need one might have during our stay for the young/old. This was one of the best stocked properties we have stayed at. Not only was almost everything you would need provided for on site, it was quality throughout. The quality of furnishings and the decor weren't marginalized either. Even the paper towels were brand name, not the inexpensive brands you might find elsewhere. Additionally, there were other things provided, that were obviously intended to make our stay even more welcoming and feel like home. The exceptional care that the owners took with all the smallest of details, made our stay so very enjoyable. Last, the entire property inside/outside was immaculate and very well cared for! The Quarry House/Farm was a pleasure to visit. It warrants a return visit or many more.

Wonderful house! Well stocked kitchen, great beds and very clean! It was wonderful to have the fire going on such cold days and we enjoyed feeding the horses up the road! We will definitely come back!

It was incredibly easy to make a reservation and all of my interactions with staff were friendly and efficient. The best way to describe this home is with a string of adjectives: private yet accessible, gorgeous, peaceful, pastoral, quiet, clean, beautifully decorated, great for pets, spacious, comfortable, homey.

My husband and I used the Quarry house as a home base for the July 4th weekend to escape fireworks for our dog. We were so impressed with how incredibly clean this property was (especially being a pet friendly property). The owners have included so many thoughtful touches - everything you could possibly need is provided. The location is beautiful and allows for exploring around the cottage on the horse farm as well as a cozy, comfortable home base to explore the outstanding wineries that are no more than a stone's throw away. Thank you for a much-needed long weekend in a picturesque setting.

We loved staying at this cozy home over Christmas! We roamed the beautiful grounds and greeted the horses. It was interesting seeing the truffle trees and the sandstone quarry. We loved the little extras that were provided like Christmas paper goods, hot chocolate, and plenty of firewood. Wegmans is not too far away and we always love to visit downtown Charlottesville so the location was convenient for us also. We would definitely recommend staying here. We didn't give it 5 stars because the home was a little smaller than we thought and the cell phone coverage was very spotty.

We rented this gorgeous property for a ladies weekend away and everyone loved it. 5 ladies comfortably shared the home which was well appointed with luxury sheets, towels, bedding, and beautifully decorated. The property was best enjoyed because we hired a private chef to handle the food for us and just stayed put to visit and enjoy. We are definitely going to rent this again. Can't say enough great things!

The setting in the Virginia countryside was spectacular, and the house was beautiful and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The hosts have gone above and beyond to create the perfect country retreat close to lovely vineyards and Charlottesville. We definitely want to come back!

A great place for a quiet get away. The cottage is beautifully decorated and had everything you could possibly need down to chapstick! The beds were extremely comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We got ourselves locked out (which is a story in itself) and he saved the day! So the place even comes with a locksmith:) Highly recommend.

The kitchen has everything you need including spices. The coffee options (Nespresso machine, regular coffee machine, grinder and frother) were very nice to have as we are coffee lovers. The cabin is so beautiful and well kept. The property is beautiful. I cannot say enough nice things about it. We have a two and three year old who loved looking at the pictures on the walls (especially the cow above the fireplace). The back yard and front yard are fenced. It was a very safe place for them to run around and just enjoy being outside. We truly had a wonderful time. We look forward to visiting again!

We absolutely loved spending time on the screened in porch and at the fire pit. We loved taking morning walks and seeing the horses while we passed (and occasionally feeding them a carrot!). But perhaps my favorite part of our stay were the owners of the farm, Helen and Bill. They made sure that everything was thought of, and no request was too small. I truly can't say enough good things about our whole experience, and I wish we were back there right now!

We came for two weeks and stayed for two months! The house is charming and comfortable and so well equipped. Bill and Helen are the most gracious hosts. Everyone on the farm is wonderful. It's a beautiful place.

Our stay and experience at from arrival to departures was nothing shorter than AMAZING and beyond!!! From our initial booking of the property we were unfamiliar with North Garden...but have visited the Charlottesville and surrounding area for over 10 years. After previewing the photos and information online and just fell in love. What could be better than a cozy and quaint guesthouse on a horse farm with wood burning fireplace, fenced yard...and the bonus of a pond for fishing...absolutely nothing...

The home was spotless...from the first steps into the home and it didn't stop there. It also was very well appointed, from the kitchen throughout..far superior than any other rental that we have ever stayed in. The towels, linens and beds were extremely soft and of great quality, along with the rest of the appointments throughout the home.

We thoroughly enjoyed the home itself...from relaxing on the couches in the common area with the wood burning fireplace, to cooking meals in the well-appointed kitchen, to the cozy screened then the outside with the HUGE fully fenced in yard for our pups enjoyment, plus ours...along with a firepit and we even got to throw a few casts in the pond. We brought a few rods with knowledge of the pond in the photos, but there were also rods there. Again appointed beyond! We even had the opportunity to explore the property a bit too.

We also enjoyed the surrounding area, which for the most part was convenient to access (the roads are all "country/mountain"...narrow and winding)... Admittedly it was hard to "get up and go" in the mornings as the house and property were just so cozy. But we enjoyed visiting various wineries from Pippin Hill, to King Family and also Barboursville, with a wonderful lunch at Palladio...along with just driving within the countryside and enjoying all that it offers.

As you can tell...we truly enjoyed and can't say enough about the Quarry House and it's owners as well!

A lovely property on a working farm....warm and welcoming! Could not ask for more: well maintained, loads of amenities, quiet and relaxing.

The location is ideal for hiking, visiting vineyards and local breweries. Fun!

This sweet, warm, inviting home was one of the best places we have ever stayed in! I have stayed in many homes and this home was so clean and had everything we needed and more. I cooked in this home and had everything I needed! The fireplace was awesome and they provided wood for the fireplace and the fire pit outside. That was amazing! We had chairs for around the fire pit and the back yard is fenced in beautifully with perennial flowers in several gardens. I loved that we were able to bring our dogs and felt very safe and so comfortable in every way! The beds were so comfy and my husband and I really wanted to look at the mattresses so we could find one. The bathrooms were clean and had every detail of anything you needed in case you forgot something. I would highly recommend this beautiful hidden treasure and we are for sure going to make it a Fall tradition! Thank You for providing such a wonderful place to relax and be close enough to vineyards and Charlottesville. We are very blessed to have found this place!
