French Cottage Apartment is one of seven fully renovated apartments located within the Belmont Farmhouse just 1 block off "downtown" Belmont. It offers 1 bed, 1bath, a living area and kitchen. It is located on the first level of the farmhouse. Excellent location, on a quiet street, and within a minutes walk to some of the area's best restaurants (MAS, The Local, Tavola, Belle, Conmole) and about a 10 -15 minute walk to the highly sought after Downtown Mall (pedestrian). French Cottage is primarily an "extended stay" rental with a typical minimum night stay of 30 days, although may be occasionally offered for short term rentals. Please call to inquire about pricing for stays longer than 31 days.
As you step into our apartment you'll notice little details such as exposed brick, antique heart pine floors, large barn doors, a shelf made from original heart pine floor joists, farm sink, & apple crate drawers.  The bedroom is styled with blues and grays making it a truly relaxing and comfortable room.
The neighborhood, charm of the apartment, and proximity to all great things in Charlottesville will provide you with the ability to experience the area like a local.
Each side of the house has a pleasant yard that can be used for picnics, yoga, etc. Enjoy a morning coffee on the front porch swing, rocker, or cafe table set.
