Hampshire Cottage is a fully furnished charming 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom cottage with a king bed, full kitchen, pull out sofa, and porch swing. Located in the Ivy neighborhood nearby upscale restaurants, art galleries, and nurseries, this cottage offers a peaceful home base for Charlottesville visitors.

Positioned as the sixth cottage from the entrance, Hampshire is one of the largest and most airy cottages on the property. Painted in calming clear blues with soaring ceilings, it evokes a refreshing breeze off the English Channel. Inspired by England’s seafaring history, this cottage blends nautical charm with modern comfort. The king bedroom features two full-sized closets and a large Smart TV—perfect for relaxing evenings in bed. The fully equipped kitchen opens onto a rear porch with a porch swing and bistro set, ideal for enjoying peaceful mornings or evenings outdoors. The tranquil blues and nautical decor create a restful atmosphere designed for rejuvenation. One dog is allowed with for an additional $75 cleaning fee.

Please note that Ivy Cottages is thoughtfully expanding to include additional accommodations and event spaces, with completion anticipated in 2027. While this exciting work is underway, construction is taking place on the main house and select common areas. The cottages currently available for rent are fully completed and offer private, comfortable, and updated spaces for your stay. During daytime hours, you may notice some construction activity on the property, and we appreciate your understanding as we continue to enhance this special setting for future guests.
