Ivy Guest Apartment

This place has a great location and welcoming hosts. We only rent for weekends but most of the rentals are for longer term. If you're looking for a longer term rental near Charlottesville, book the Ivy Guest Apartment - you can't do better than this property!

We had a lovely stay! It is situated on a great propertywith beautiful views. Our dogs loved playing with their dogs.Lisa and Keith were very accommodating and welcoming.You will love your stay there!

We could not have asked for a better spot to start our life in the Charlottesville area. Lisa and Keith were incredibly welcoming and kind hosts. The apartment had everything we needed, with a lovely view to the west and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guesthouse was wonderful to work with and made the reservation process extremely easy.

I stayed many months longer than planned at this lovely cottage ending in spring of 2022. Why? It was such a relaxing setting, a charming furnished cottage with plenty of light, that felt connected with the natural surroundings, almost like being in a tree house. The owners were responsible when I needed something, but gave me plenty of privacy. The best? The property is quiet and secluded, yet minutes from the edge of Charlottesville. Randomly I glimpsed the neighbor’s cows, the goats across the street, and sometimes the sheep when it was their turn in the nearby pasture. Lovely!

Four of us stayed a couple of nights - did a brewery tour one day and UVa football game the next day. The apartment was perfect for us - comfortable living area with cable tv, a kitchen to prepare tailgate food, cozy bedrooms. We loved looking out at the surrounding property - saw so many deer! The hosts were great - left us coffee and pastries and other treats, we were able to check in early, and it was a very easy check-in. We would absolutely stay here again!

We enjoyed everything about our stay with Lisa and Keith. They were so welcoming to us and our two dogs. The location was perfect for accessing all of the vineyards in the area,hiking, and for going into downtown Charlottesville. I would highly recommend and look forward to returning to stay here again!

The website accurately described the Ivy Guest Apartment. In addition, the pictures were very helpful in showing what we could expect...and they were accurate. The customer service was personalized yet professional. Options for breakfast were delivered fresh and were as ordered. Will consider renting again.

Lisa and Keith were great landlords to stay with. They catered to our needs whenever needed. The guesthouse is set up beautifully and comfortable and has all the amenities you need for a long stay. They treated our dog like one of their own and even tried to keep him. Overall I recommend staying here to anyone who wants to feel at home when away from home. Furthermore, the property is extremely beautiful and close to everything.

We had a wonderful time. Lisa and Keith were wonderful hosts and provided us with delicious breakfasts every morning! It is a beautiful spot, very comfortable and quiet and a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of Charlottesville on graduation weekend.

The space is well-designed and well-equipped. The owners provided coffee, tea, and delicious pastries (from their bakery, Hot Cakes, which you must try!) for our first day. The apartment is completely private, but the owners are also easily accessible and extremely helpful.

We were able to get to almost anywhere we needed in 20 minutes or less. The grocery store is less than 10 minutes away. You definitely need a car, but as far as we can tell that's everywhere in Charlottesville. The property is gorgeous and we had tons of fun running the hills and playing under the trees. The evenings are still and silent except for the wildlife, which makes for a lovely symphony. One of my favorite features is that all of the windows open and have screens, which allowed us to enjoy the outside breeze while keeping the bugs at bay.

We slept soundly in the beds, enjoyed home-cooked meals from the kitchen, lounged through movie night on the couches, and took warm showers after rolling around in the grass. If you are looking for a safe and clean temporary home for your stay, this is undeniably the place.

Lisa, Keith, and the pups made myself and my dogs feel like we were at home - we didn't want to leave!!! Had my work situation worked out differently, we would still be there :)

A very good experience and I would not hesitate to rent the property again. The owners were very nice people and a pleasure to talk with. The property was extremely clean and comfortable. We could not have asked for more.
