This 1930's brick Cape Cod is conveniently situated on Rugby Road, offering a seamless blend of historic charm and modern convenience. Inside, you'll find high ceilings, elegant arched doorways, and expansive windows that fill each room with abundant natural light. The private backyard and spacious front yard further enhance the appeal of this property, providing ample space for relaxation and outdoor activities. This house features three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms.
On the first floor is a newly renovated kitchen, traditional dining room, large living room, and sunroom with a TV.
The second floor offers a primary king bed with en-suite bath and 2 queen bedrooms that share a bathroom.
On the 3rd floor is a private loft area with a TV and a desk, perfect for lounging or a quiet workspace. (please note the stairs are narrow and ceilings are low in the loft area).
The backyard offers a large patio area with outdoor seating and a gazebo attached to a covered patio with a day bed - perfect for an afternoon read or an evening glass of wine with friends and family.
Parking: there is off-street parking provided on the driveway, enough for 3 vehicles. The driveway is railroad style i.e. other cars must move for the 1st car to get out. Pulling in and out of the property is a bit tight due to stone walls on either side of the entrance.

House Rules:
- Guests of Guest Policy: Guests are allowed double the Max Occupancy (12 max) during the hours of 9:00 am – 9:00 PM with the permission of Guesthouses. Outside of said hours Guest agrees only the Max Occupancy will be present at the property. Violation of this policy can result in immediate eviction of Guest with no refund.

Beautifully appointed house in a great location for getting around Charlottesville - walk to Grounds, JPJ or the Corner. Easy access by car to the Dairy Market, Downtown Mall or Barracks Road. Plenty of room both inside and outside with comfy beds and bedding. We will definitely plan a return trip!

If you are planning a visit to Charlottesville, this rental home should be at the top of your list! This three bedroom house is perfectly located on Rugby Road, far enough from the main strip to avoid the noise, but close enough for an easy walk to grounds or to Scott Stadium. The house is exquisitely decorated and has a full kitchen with high-end appliances. The large windows in the sunroom and throughout the house allow for plenty of natural light. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back next fall!

What a gem! I've been a guest in this home several times over the last year. The home is beautifully decorated with no detail left unattended. The fenced in backyard is private and well landscaped — the perfect spot for coffee in the morning or wine in the evenings (or in our case, a safe spot for my 6 year old to kick the soccer ball). I love the natural light and you'll find the walls of the house have interesting art hung throughout. You can't beat the location — it's walking distance to the UVA Lawn and the Corner and a few minutes drive from the Downtown Mall, Dairy Market and Barracks Road Shopping Center.
I recently stayed here while visiting my student at UVA and it was perfect! The location is ideal to walk to The Corner and the grounds or a short drive to Barrack's road. This beautifully renovated brick Cape Cod has amazing light, is spacious, and very comfortable.The private backyard and gazebo was the perfect spot to have coffee in the morning. No detail has been overlooked! The kitchen is equipped with high-end appliances, the dining room was perfect for hosting a dinner, and the sunroom is inviting and cozy. The bed and exceptional linens made my stay exceptionally comfortable!The check in was easy and the host was responsive to my questions.It truly felt like a home away from home, and I look forward to returning!
