Rose Jean Room 5 offers a unique boutique hotel experience just one block from Charlottesville's vibrant Downtown Mall. Located within a thoughtfully restored 1920s building inspired by European inns, this spacious king room blends contemporary comfort with timeless character. Room 5 is the only guest room with its own private exterior entrance, providing direct access to the beautifully landscaped courtyard while offering additional privacy. It is also the only dog-friendly room at Rose Jean, making it an ideal choice for guests traveling with their four-legged companion.

Pleasant and comfortable stay - room was squeaky clean, bed comfy, appreciated the Nespresso machine. Easy walking distance to the pedestrian mall - and Petite MarieBette! Will definitely stay here again when back in Charlottesville. Sooo much nicer than the chain hotels!

This is the second time I have stayed at Rose Jean and, again, the room and location were just what I needed. It’s possible I will be in Charlottesville on a semi-regular basis, and I will continue to choose Rose Jean.

This was the perfect spot for a long weekend stay for my. Niece’s wedding. The downtown location was ideal for most of the weekend activities, and the unit was comfortable and clean.

Great stay! The property was very clean, quiet, and had a cute outdoor space to relax. The location was perfect—walkable to restaurants and bars while still feeling peaceful. Customer service was excellent and communication was easy throughout our stay. Would definitely stay here again!
